  Syntek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. was founded in Hsinchu Science Park in 1983. It is the first FAB-less IC design company in Asia. Syntek stock was publicly listed in Taiwan OTC since 1991, code: 5302. Now the Syntek operation headquarter and research & development center is located in Syntek R&D building in Neihu Technology park, Taipei.

    Since Syntek started operation in 1983, the company stays with its belief of innovation and technology development as key competence to drive business growth. Now Syntek is focused on image and video processing technologies, and develops advanced products in photo capturing and video recording applications. Syntek also acquired the wireless network technologies, i.e. WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS from global alliance and investment.
